I'd like to upload some new files to my project's website, but keep getting connection errors. The website is svgsalamander.java.net. I'm using BitKinex to try to upload using webdav. I've followed the instructions on https://java.net/projects/help/pages/UploadWebsiteFiles#Using_BitKinex_w..., but each time I try to connect I get a BitKinex error saying

HTTP: Internal Server Error [/website/svgsalamander]

After that I can browse, but any attempt to upload anything just hangs. Any idea how I can upload files?

@kitfox, please verify you are entering your correct password. Webdav does not require a password for browsing, but will validate when trying to write (update and upload files).

I think so. At least I'm using the same password that I use to log into my java.net account. I'm not sure if it's the same one.

Also, when I try to connect using the path /website/svgsalamander, I get an error saying "HTTP: Internal Sever Error (/website/svgsalamander)". I can then click OK and am given a tree to browse. The directory is start in is shown in red and appears to be invalid (/website/svgsalamander), but I can then click on the root node and browse after that. This seems like odd behavior to me.

@kitfox, since the site allows you to browse through webdav without authentication you would not see any access errors when browsing the site; however, you would receive errors when trying to update or add new files.

Please verify that you are using the correct password when connecting to the website. If you are not 100% certain please reset your password and once reset and validated, try to access the website at https://java.net/website/svgsalamander using webdav with this new password.

Do you mean I should reset the password for my main account? I can log in with that okay. Is there some other way to set the password specifically for my webdav account? I seem to remember there being something like that back when kenai was running.
