Can we convert Desktop port to Applet to run in internet browser?

Dears,

I wonder if we can convert the Desktop port application to applet to run in internet browser ...

This way we can utilize LWUIT as a web application, it's a big dream,

can we ?????

The LWUIT demo already has an applet version in SVN. You can see a slightly older version of the demo here.

I plan to post an updated version of the Applet soon.

The SVN is reachable from the lwuit.java.net site. You can see the LWUIT demo under the Apps directory, underneath that project we have several projects with ports to MIDP, SE and RIM.
In the Desktop (SE) port you will see the application and Applet code.
In the Ports directory of the SVN you will see the SE UI port.
