Hi everyone,

I'm using a version from the LWUIT SVN (sorry, don't know which revision number). The method "VKBImplementationFactory.init();" is deprecated. Even if I'm not calling it I get by default the virtual LWUIT keyboard. Is there a way to totally avoid having it displayed and have the native keyboard directly displayed on my mobile's screen?

Thank you!

There is no way in MIDP to access the native VKB, it can only be permanently on or permanently off.

In RIM/Android the native VKB should be used by default instead of the LWUIT VKB. You can disable the LWUIT VKB by using Display.setDefaultVirtualKeyboard(null)
