I use the newest JDK8 at Raspberry PI. I wrote a webradio - all works fine. I have sound at HDMI and analog too.

My problem: if I use an usb-sound-card, audio works with other porgrams but not with my java-program. Java use the normal analog output. Is this a bug or what I have to do for change it?

I use alsa-sound, not pulse.

I hope this is not a WOM-forum :)

OK, more information: Java "see" the sound-card but there is a "Line unsupported" exception. I can't unterstand it. The card works good an play the same sound with other programs.

Does Java not support USB (2.0) sound-cards?

It's a Java-Linux probem, JDK7 has this problem too,
