Hello, dear java programmers.
My "Web" application is having slow startup problem since the arrival of java JRE 1.7.0_45-b18.
1) I now have a certificate
2) the surpriose is that I discoverd the the startup process of my "web application" (I use Java Web Start / JNLP file) has now ... DOUBLED (!!!).
It took 6 seconds before I had a certificate. It takes now 12. Dear god.

I am in search of a way to accelerate the "certificate validity Check".
What can I do in my JNLP file to speed up the process.

PS: I know I can tell my users to dig in the parameters of the jvm.... but understand that I want a real solution in my application, not a support solution.

Tank you for your time

I did found a quick fix:
In the JNLP file I replaced the line :

by the line:

Now the "certificate validity check" is done in the background AFTER the application starts.
SO now the application is started in 6 seconds rather than 12 seconds!
--> I divided the startup time by a factor of two !
Good job !
