Hello,

Some of our customers are complaining that they cannot use DSF links with the Java 7 build 1.7.0_02-ea-b11. In Java 1.6 a similar bug has been fixed (http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=7012783). When will this fix be incorporated in Java 7?

Regards,

Pasi

Hi Pasi,

The fix has been integrated into 7u2b08. Please make sure you're using the latest EA build. If it still fails, please file a new bug at http://bugs.sun.com/.

Hi Anthony,

The JDK that we are using at the moment was installed from an installer named: jdk-7u2-ea-bin-b11-windows-x64-27_oct_2011.exe. Is this newer or older than the 7u2b08 you mentioned?

Best Regards,

Pasi

From the bundle name you can infer that you're using 7u2b11 which must be obviously newer than b08. ('b' stands for 'build', 'u' for 'update').

I'd suggest to wait till the next build (7u2b12) is available and give it a try once more. If that doesn't work either, then please file a new bug via the bug reporting tool I've mentioned earlier.

There's 7u2-b13.html (November 17, 2011) and also build 03 (December 10, 2011). The latter has a later date, but smaller number. Should I still try the first?

Thanks,

Pasi

The final build for 7u2 has just been released today. Please install it from http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html and see if it works for you.
