Hi,

I want to create my own node-handle ui. Is there any good point I should start with?
I got knowledge about painting stuff but not that much about the UI-handling for nodes.

Where are the important classes and how to implement this custom UI in the best way.

Regards, Spinni

Not that this question is related to SwingLabs (SwingX) but if you mean the [+] and [-],

you can change that using new icons :

ClassLoader cl = MyClassChangeMe.class.getClassLoader();
UIManager.put("Tree.expandedIcon", new ImageIcon(cl.getResource("com/app/resources/16/treeex.png")));
UIManager.put("Tree.collapsedIcon", new ImageIcon(cl.getResource("com/app/resources/16/treecol.png")));

Re,

Thanks for the answer.

I know this stuff. What i want is to change handles of the nodes too. This means the part you can not directly edit

via a custom cell renderer.
