SwingX and Netbeans GUI Editor

Hi all,

I like to use the Netbeans GUI builder to lay out my UI components and create callbacks, etc. It really saves a lot of boilerplate.

It is possible to add beans-based Components to the GUI Editor (I've added the 1.6.1 swingx and swingx-beaninfo jars) and drag & drop etc. However, some of the Pane-based Components do not seem to allow any Components to be added inside of them: Specifically the JXTaskPane JXCollapsiblePane. On the other hand, I do seem to be able to add simple Components to JXTaskPaneContainer.

Does anyone know what the problem could be and how I can fix it?

Regards, Sam

There were updates to the BeanInfos since 1.6.1. Please check against the latest version 1.6.3 to see if there are still issues.

I tried with 1.6.3 (-all and -beaninfo) and I get "cannot add components to non-empty container" when I try to enclose with a collapsable pane
