I am attempting to prepare the regression release for deployment. There are two other issues that were opened against the 1.6.5 release. Are these issues intended to be fixed for the regression release?

No hearing any complaints with the regression release. I will attempt to get that out today.

I have uploaded snapshots to java.net. Please test if you reported a regression to validate that our fixes work.

Unfortunately it does not work for me - Synth painters are still not respected. Test case is attached.

Thanks,

hmm ... core and x look the same for me. What exactly is unexpected?

Sorry, seems to work fine now - after correcting classpath setting for the snapshot jar.

Thanks,

Hi Karl,

looks like something went wrong with the snapshot: swingx-all.jar has only 2.2kb and contains nothing but a pom ..

It's not a release so it won't be correct (we don't have source jars with snapshots to recompile), you have to test with the other jars.

hmm ... that's unfortunate, we can't really expect anybody testing it without a swingx-all.

That's not my expectation, but if anyone doesn't want to download all of the jars they could get core and place it on the classpath before 1.6.5-all and it should work (thanks to classpath/classloader magic).

which issues exactly?

Currently I'm aware of

http://java.net/jira/browse/SWINGX-1536

(which is .. cough, cough ...), so I could include it these days without much risk.

What else (apart from the face-value fix of the JRenderCheckbox regression)?

Cheers and good night

resolved that one and the striping issue - the others weren't introduced by 1.6.5 so no need to tackle them in a regression release - go ahead :-)

Cheers
