as many noticed, the SwingX 1.6.3 release had a slight (cough ..) issue in that the sources/javadoc of swingall didn't appear in the final roll-out

http://java.net/jira/browse/SWINGX-1500

That seems to be fixed, but before fully relying on the fix, we want your confirmation that it really is the case, citing Karl from another thread:

"I have uploaded SwingX 1.6.4 into the maven.java.net staging repo. For those that use the swingx-all jars, please confirm that the jar, sources, and javadoc work as expected. If others agree things look right, we'll get this pushed out soon."

Where soon can mean any day now, once we get it :

Thanks
Jeanette

Updated files in place that fix a regression for JXSerachField. Waiting a day for feedback before I release 1.6.4.

Fixed. We'll wait another 24 hours for people to test and provide feedback.

updated swinglabs-demos and the webstartable demo to the staged swingx-all, looks fine :-)

In that process, noticed a pain point for updating: that's the renaming of ColorUtils to PaintUtils ... We should document that somewhere (along with other code breaking changes).

No idea where, though, as the wiki is still read only. Maybe here, in the release thread? Or better a readme along with the release?

Cheers

I have tried the new swingx-all-1.6.4 jar. It seems that the localized string are missing (for example in the Search Box in JXTable). I didn't found the folder \org\jdesktop\swingx\plaf\basic\resources\ in the 1.6.4 jar

I can also confirm Javadocs and Sources are attached this time, thanks!

It might not be evident to all how to do these checks in future, for their reference it is as simple as adding the following to your pom.xml

    <repositories>
        ... OTHER REPOSITORIES HERE IF YOU HAVE ANY ...
        <repository>
            <id>java.net-Public</id>
            <name>Maven Java Net Snapshots and Releases</name>
            <url>https://maven.java.net/content/repositories/staging/</url>
            <snapshots>
                <enabled>true</enabled>
            </snapshots>
        </repository>
    </repositories>

and then version 1.6.4 should be available, using the usual mechanism, with

        <dependency>
            <groupId>org.swinglabs.swingx</groupId>
            <artifactId>swingx-all</artifactId>
            <version>1.6.4</version>
        </dependency>

(BTW, Java.net Formatting buttons are totally b0rk3d on Safari. I'm not at all surprised - it is Java.net afterall)

We have confirmation that the sources and JavaDoc are now working.

Before, I release the staged build I want to verify the possible regression in JXSearchField.
