I am confused. When I download the latest bundle I notice that there is a directory titled " __MACOSX\" with it's own jar file in it.
Is swingx not compatible with all platforms via one jar file?

The zip file was created on a Mac and as such contains a Mac-specific folder (part of the Mac's zip utility). That folder it moot with respect to the SwingX content and can be ignored.

I went to the swing labs download page:
http://swinglabs.org/downloads.jsp
And I downloaded the 1.6.2 binaries. Am I not using the right files?
