Hello,
I've just coded a java library for loading Blender files in java3d.
By now, it can load simple meshes and their materials.
This library implements the Loader interface.

Hi,

ambitious work !

Your BlenderLoader imported successfully meshes and materials of several .blend-files into my Java 3D authoring tool. Are you planning to add support for textures and transformations?

As usual, native 3D-formats are not well documented (see .3ds). I found Jeroen Bakker's 'The mystery of the blend' and 'Blender SDNA 249 Internal SDNA structures' in the web. Does your implementation base on these documents?

Hello,
You are right, I started my job with Jeroen Bakker's documents. These were the only docs I found on Blender format, but I also had to use a binary editor...
I would like to add support for functionalities you mention. But I desesperatly lack of time!
Thanks for your interest!
