Extending GeometryArray or QuadArray to produce complex shapes
I'm new to Java3D. I am trying to create a 3D game which has hexagonal tiles. In order to do this, I need to create hexagonal polygons. I know I can do this by using two quadArrays (two trapezoids joined at the base) but it seems like an inefficient idea. Is there a way to create my own HexArray class? If so, can you hint as to how to do this?
