Hi,

My full experience is in .NET world and I specialize in integration. Now I am getting into Java and especially web services for the target of cross-platform interoperability. I have no prior Java knowledge at all.

Now here is the thing: Because of my C# background I can easily understand Java code, so i jumped directly to web services. But frankly I have been overwhelmed by all the terminologies and choices I have especially for application servers (Glassfish, TomCat, WebLogic). So I started jumping from one place to another without really finding a clear path.

So my question is: should i hold back a step and get into JSP first to get familiar with Java web technologies or can I continue with my web services track and get myself a book about any one of these application servers?

Thanks for your time, and for your help in advance
