I am trying to do the following:

  1. Configure a Metro Service to be claims aware using AD FS 2.0 with encrypted and signed tokens.
  2. Register the service as a relying party in AD FS 2.0. Is there a way to help me generate FederationMetadata to facilitate that?
  3. Extract claims from the token passed into the service call.

I know this is a pretty general request, but I am a bit lost. I looked at the Example Apps in the Metro docs and didn't get very far. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Specifically, I am having issues making a call from a .NET client. It seems as if the bindings that svcutil generates either aren't complete or sometimes crash and clear out my config file. Has anyone run into this before?

If i set the service to use an STS with an Endorsed token, svcutil doesn't generate the bindings config at all and crashes.
