Hi,
I'm interested to know what is the degree of advancement on CDI-OSGi Integration. I was researching the next project:
https://github.com/tangyong/gf-cdi-osgi-integration

The question is: It's official, in which glassfish version is planned?

Thanks!!!

Yes, OSGi/CDI is already available in GlassFish starting with GlassFish
3.1.1 [1]. Tang is currently working on further improvements in this
area where in one can use CDI without having to package their bundle as
an EJB bundle or WAB. He has submitted some patch which is being
integrated into GF 4.0.

Thanks,
Sahoo

Thanks Shaoo for the reply.
One more question, the implementation of weld-osgi is based in the same specification?

If I develop an application in glassfish 3.1.2.2 I can use the special features of @Publish? or I have to add some bundle?

Thanks!!!!

We try to keep fighterfish modules (which provide support for various
OSGi/JavaEE integrations) backward compatible with 3.1.x code line, but
I am not sure if a new feature like @Publish can be made to be
compatible with 3.1.x. It actually depends on what version of Weld this
feature requires. I am yet to integrate this feature, so too early to say.

Thanks,
Sahoo
