Hi all

We're all new to Glassfish but we're getting better.

We are evaluating Glassfish as a JMS Server (We want to use it as a web/app server as well). We want to send Messages from a standalone java client to the JMS Server Queue. (Btw, it works for ActiveMQ from unix to windows).

Our problem is that we have code that works between two windows system. When we put the code on Unix (OMVS) it gives us a CORBA-problem(??).
We're using the gf-client.

This is how we start the Java-client (Both on windows and unix): And Unix gives us the following problem.

java -jar -Djava.naming.factory.initial=com.sun.enterprise.naming.SerialInitContextFactory -Djava.naming.factory.url.pkgs=com.sun.enterprise.naming -Dorg.omg.CORBA.ORBInitialHost=YY.XX.43.167 -Dorg.omg.CORBA.ORBInitialPort=3700 -Djava.naming.factory.state=com.sun.corba.ee.impl.presentation.rmi.JNDIStateFactoryImpl RunnableJar2.jar

Output:

2012-nov-08 09:57:01 com.sun.enterprise.v3.server.CommonClassLoaderServiceImpl findDerbyClient
INFO: Cannot find javadb client jar file, derby jdbc driver will not be available by default.

That looks strange, and may be Unix system specific issue. Could you
please try it on one of the supported Unix platforms ?

Thank you. I am not a Unix/Mainframe guy so I need to ask someone who knows what they're talking about.

I am especially stunned by the following:

The server ID in the target object key does not match the server key expected by the server vmcid: OMG minor code: 2 completed: NO

DNS lookup? Different ServerID's?

Will get back to you...
