I have a Solaris 10 box running Glassfish V2. I can start the domain with the glassfish user and access the admin console no problem, the problem is that whenever I close the glassfish user session it "shutdowns" the domain and I can no longer access de admin console.

I tried adding the command -Xrs to the JVM options and in the java command contained inside the asadmin file, but it didn't work.

How can I keep the domain started after I log out?

Thanks in advance

You want to create a service to manage the GlassFish domain. Super easy with GlassFish on Solaris or OpenIndiana:

By the way that's for GlassFish v3, your mileage may vary on v2.
