I know that I can supply the --savemasterpassword=true option to asadmin
create-domain.

What if I wish to apply this state of affairs to an existing domain? Is
there an asadmin set command I can use?

Use the change-master-password command.

Oh, OK; duh; I suppose that should have been obvious; didn't occur to me
that create-domain's --savemasterpassword option was effectively shorthand
for create-domain + change-master-password. Thanks.
