The last 2 weeks I had the opportunity to review the NetBeans IDE 7 Cookbook. I really enjoyed reading it. Each chapter covers a particular area, it being web applications, mobile, JavaFX, databases, etcteras. Whether you are a beginner or you have used NetBeans for a while this book is definitely a good addition to your bookshelf.
