Like other screens of life (desktop, mobile), gaming is fast growing area of interest on TV. People in various parts of the planet have shown keen interest on being able to play games on TV platforms, be it using their Set-top boxes or DVD players.

After its success on mobile, Light Weight UI Toolkit (LWUIT) has a new destination - TV! LWUIT on TV is pretty similar to LWUIT on mobile, but it has to now work with bigger screen resolutions and different aspect ratios on TV.

Java SDK for TV

How often I have wondered, if only there was a good SDK for developing Java applications on TV, 'this' problem could have been avoided or 'that' application could have been more compelling. I am sure there are many like me, those who work on Java applications for TV or provide Java platforms for TV.
