Julian de Anquin

Julian de Anquin, from Cordoba Argentina, has been programming Java for the past 5 years and teaching java/J2EE in Latin America as an oracle Instructor for an argentinian Oracle business Partner. For the past 2.5 years he has led several J2EE projects (doing development, mentoring and consulting) in Argentina and in Latin America. In December 2006 he created Cordobajug.org.He now runs his own business to develop and do J2EE consulting, and is in charge of the development and educational area.

Diference Between Hibernate and Toplink

In a project I'm working, we are moving from using Hibernate to Toplink, so I thought that i just had to change the provider and everything would work perfect, but....
the Following code it is used to call a native query.

em.createNativeQuery("MyQry");
The query return a single integer.

This is my first post on weblog @ java.net, my main interest is J2ME development, so i will focus on J2ME on my post, obviously java in general will also be in my posts.
Mi first post is about something I've heard today, Access , former PalmSource, has decided to discontinue the Websphere environment they've provided to develop J2ME apps for the PalmOs JRE.
