Jazoon 2010 report

Posted by fabriziogiudici on June 4, 2010 at 12:20 AM PDT

Yet Another Conference Is Over. It has been some great time and, after some doubts during the first morning, I must say that there were very good contents. Randomically talking with other people confirmed this opinion. Some sparse thoughts:

Via DZone, yesterday I read this statement from Android's Open Source & Compatibility Program Manager, Dan Morrill:

Off topic, once in a while: what about jazz (not the IBM stuff) and NetBeans in Novara?

Apple computers are "intelligent" - and I have got the proof

Don't miss the Jazoon Rookies

Posted by fabriziogiudici on June 2, 2010 at 3:17 AM PDT

Posted by fabriziogiudici on June 1, 2010 at 3:05 AM PDT

Well, this morning started with an urgent phone call by a customer, that made me lost the first two morning slots of the conference. Too bad; but, fortunately, after one hour the thing has been fixed and there should be no more interrupts for the whole week.

My agenda for Jazoon 2010

Here's my tentative agenda for Jazoon 2010. For some slots, there are still conflicts among equally interesting talks, so I'll probably decide at the last minute.

My second intensive user experience with Android

A few days ago I blogged about a few quirks with blueBill Mobile on Android, during my first user experience.

blueBill Mobile 0.9.0 published on the market

Posted by fabriziogiudici on May 15, 2010 at 3:35 PM PDT

A few hours ago I've completed the first cycle for blueBill Mobile and got to have v0.9.0 published to the Android market. 0.9.0 means that the application isn't fully tested and indeed in the next days I'll be still experimenting a bit to see how the automatic update of applications in the market works.
