JSR what ?

What is JSR 299 ? If I even knew I'd probably won't care.

Lingering concerns

Check out the vote results on the JCP site. IBM voiced concerns about having another component framework and possible scope creep, Oracle voiced concern about how 299 would integrate with the rest of EE, SAP questioned integration and an overarching principle for the JSR, and Google said they expected changes to the name and package. That said, they all voted YES.

still parsing the question

I suppose to answer this you need to know a lot about the web beans back story! I'm still having trouble locating the "lingering concerns"
