  Well, there's zero chance of me getting to JavaOne 2007 - just like JavaOne 2006, 5, etc.
  
  Stuck here at the arse-end of the world, it's hard to be enthusiastic about it.

  you're not alone. The airfare to get to get a single person there alone would eat up our entire conference/training budget for the year. Add hotels, car rental, entrance fees, etc. etc. and it ain't gonna happen.
