There are so many different ways to arrive at the home page for an interesting project here on java.net. This project enables a communication between the blind and the deaf through a cell phone. Rybena means to communicate. Speech is converted into text and then to the Sign Language. The system connects to a Databank where a set of animations is stored. For each recognized word, a corresponding sign animation is transmitted to the client’s cell phone. In case one word does not have a correspondent symbol images of its characters are transmitted letter by letter to the mobile device.
Java Tiny Gfx Library (JTGL) is a graphic fundation framework (a graphics/gaming api) that will allow easy deployment/porting of applications/games on many environments: J2SE,J2ME/MIDP(Nokia,Siemens,BlackBerry),SuperWaba(Palm,PPC,Symbian),ExEn,DoJa,etc..
BtFree is a library for creating client-server application over a Bluetooth connection. You can use it in your MIDP application or in a Java application that use an implementation of JSR82. Upon the BtFree you can easily create application with a client-server interaction, avoiding need of know JSR82 and the problems related.
