Java implementation of IEEE 1451 Smart Transducer Interface
This project enables a communication between the blind and the deaf through a cell phone. Rybena means to communicate. Speech is converted into text and then to the Sign Language. The system connects to a Databank where a set of animations is stored. For each recognized word, a corresponding sign animation is transmitted to the client’s cell phone. In case one word does not have a correspondent symbol images of its characters are transmitted letter by letter to the mobile device.
