Mainejug is the Maine Java Users Group, the only JUG in the great state of Maine.
Makagiga is a powerful, easy-to-use, cross-platform free software. It features plugins, file import/export, backup utility, tabbed view (like in Firefox or Opera), search function, custom colors, labels and comments for each file or folder, and more! The functionality can be extended via plugins. Currently Makagiga includes the following built-in plugins (extensions): Text editor, Todo list (with summary, priority, progress and date/time info), a very simple image editor, Google search, Wikipedia search.

ViziSolve solves math equations. The goal is to do this pretty much the way a math teacher might do it in front of a classroom - going through each step of the solution process one calculation at a time, highlighting each part as it is being used for the next line, and stating clearly at each step of the way what it is doing.

Maven plugin to detect and process JEE aplication client modules
A maven plugin that is able to post messages to various common social media. It can for example announce a release when bound to the deploy phase.
Inspired by Ant's TStamp task this maven plugin will set the DSTAMP, TSTAMP, and TODAY properties in the current project. By default, the DSTAMP property is in the format "yyyyMMdd", TSTAMP is in the format "hhmm", and TODAY is in the format "MMMM dd yyyy"

MDAOG generates Java source files for use in connecting to a JDBC database, using the Data Access Object design pattern. The code generated is intended for use in J2EE web applications that need to persist data in a database.

MDAOG analyzes the schema of your database and generates all the necessary classes to be able to read, write, edit, delete or count the records in your tables, allowing you to easily connect your web application to a JDBC database.

MARF is a research platform and a collection of voice/sound/speech/text and natural language processing (NLP) algorithms written in Java and arranged into a very modular and extensible framework facilitating addition of new algorithms. MARF may act as a library in applications or be used as a source for learning and extension. A few example applications are provided to show how to use the framework. There is also a detailed manual and the API references in the javadoc format as the project tends to be well-documented. MARF and its applications are released under a BSD-style license and is hosted at SourceForge.net.
The Montreal Java User Group is a group where people meet regularly to exchange ideas and discuss technology news related to the Java platform. We meet every month.
