CleanSheets is a spreadsheet application that is both extensible and platform-independent. It features a formula language that closely resembles that of Microsoft Excel, and extensions for aiding end-user programmers in developing correct spreadsheets. Common Array Manager (CAM) is disk storage device management software that currently ties together Sun's midrange family of disk storage systems (the Sun StorageTek Modular Arrays) in an administrator friendly way. The software includes a web application, currently runnable from the Sun Java Web Console, allowing the user to manage their systems from any browser and a command line client which provides a facility for automating and scripting management operations and tasks. The main development focus of this project will be to continue to refine and enhance the core application framework, application user interfaces and device SDK. Also, members of the project would be asked to consider writing and contributing new plug-ins for CAM . The goal would be to allow CAM to evolve into a brand neutral disk management application. One idea for a plug-in we have discussed is an SMI-S client-based plug-in that would provide the foundation for allowing CAM to manage any device that has an SMI-S provider.

The Common-Controls form a Java™ Presentation Framework based on Java Servlets, Java Serverpages (JSP™) and Struts. The Presentation Framework contains the most common control elements like lists, trees, tabfolders, menus and forms, which are required for the development of J2EE™ applications with HTML frontends.
The control elements distinguish themselves by the fact that they automatically save their own state across server roundtrips, so that the scrolling mechanism of a list, for example, or the explosion and folding of a tree structure do not have to be implemented independently. Rather, the state is managed by the control element itself, so that the developer can concentrate on the actual and important aspects of a Web application, such as the technical sequences or providing the data. The Framework takes over the presentation.

curn is a command-line RSS reader, designed to be used from Unix cron or the Windows Scheduler. It processes a configured set of RSS feeds and writes output to one or more files (in user-specifiable formats, such as HTML or plain text). It can also optionally email its output. curn is highly customizable, supporting a plug-in architecture, the ability to write custom output handlers (in Java or a scripting language), a FreeMarker-driven built-in output handler (permitting the creation of a custom output format by simply defining a FreeMarker template), and other features.
To create flexible logger for use on glassfish servers. This logger should be able to: log to several locations, use memory buffering, be resilient to files being locked/deleted and use the built-in Java logging classes and configuration files.
