I've always found it good to see if any articles were written on whatever topic I have to program. Who knows maybe someone already figured out how to bypass something buggy or even encountered a development blocking situation. Never hurts to research, never hurts to look at sample code, never hurts to throw it all away if you don't like it or keep it and use it if you like it a lot!always good to see
