Windows Data Execution Prevention detected an add-on trying to use ...
Anyone else getting this error message in Internet Explorer Using JRE version 1.6.0_18-b07 Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM?
Windows Data Execution Prevention detected an add-on trying to use system memory incorrectly. This can be caused by a malfunction or a malicious add-on.
It appears as though this error only comes into play when memory settings are defined in the Java control panel.
Removing "-Xms128m -Xmx256m" from the control panel Runtime parameters allowed the applet to run okay in internet explorer.

Well, I put everything back to where it was (even the memory args) and it seems to work fine. I could not reproduce this on any other user's PCs, so I guess it is a non-issue.
Some kind of one off gremlin I guess.
