Private Project
Hello, everyone.
Sorry if this seems to be a quite "noobish" question, but I am indeed a noob. (As I just started with java.net)
I was wondering, I created a project and wanted to share it with a friend, but for some reason, anyone who isn't registered (and I'm not even sure about this, maybe only I can view my project) can't see the project.
In my projects page, there is a tiny lock by my project name.
Please, some help? Thank you very much in advance :)
Sorry I missed this when it was originally posted.
You should have received an email when you created your project that explains our workflow - all projects are created private on this site. To prevent spam and keep the large number that are abandoned out of our public pages we keep them private until some basic criteria are met - a license chosen, and some initial code or documentation about the project.
Once that is done, send an email to communitymanager@java.net to let us know and we'll be happy to make it public and move it into one of our communities, if appropriate.
More details about the process are here.
