 I needed to add a comment to a featured article submitted earlier, and found that the comment is only visible while I am logged in. That would mean that most people browsing the article would not see the comment.

Also, the number of "reads" reported at the bottom of the article is somewhat higher when I am actually logged in. Does that mean that certain others may also have tried to post comments to the article (though I can see no other comments)?

Thanks for any suggestions or help.

 Correcting Myself: The post does appear - after a small delay.

Hi Sanjay. Yes there will be a slight delay in the display of the comment for anonymous users due to caching of the data and this caching will also affect the read counter too. Logged on users will always have the most up to date information while anonymous users will experience this slight delay because of the caching.
