Call for educational visualizations
The Curated applet collection (own server Ultrastudio.org) project is looking for any useful educational visualizations that have been developed in the past (historically mostly as applets but we now use Java Web Start to launch them, also providing externally usable Web Start links). Apart from just placing the visualization for a new life on a web, our team often performs bug fixes, some extensions and porting to Java 1.5+, so you may get a better version of your old project also for you to use, without additional efforts from your side. You can use the portal code submission system or alternatively place the visualizaton code into Java.net svn server.
Contributions should normally be open source (any license that must be specified). For exceptional quality visualizations (as from university professors) we may consider other conditions but must have permission to publish the source code anyway. We currently have over 116 visualization-covered articles in our project.
