Hello eveyone,
I am a newbie about Java TV. I am trying to simulate a set-top box on my computer, I'd like to :
1. connect to services. I mean connect to TV Channels, like CNN, BBC...etc.
2. display programs of selected channels.
3. get information of the current program. like name, channel, director...etc.
Actually, pretty much a real set-top box, but in a simulator. Is it possible ? Anyone is doing this similar ?
I read all the topics posted here, and some introduction about Java TV, unfortunately, I couldn't get any clue. Any ideas ?
Thank you guys.

Cheers,
Dorje

I noticed that this thread was viewed 47 times. But no reply.....I am so sorry.

BUT, what do you do with Xlet ? or JavaTV ? Don't you use them to connect channels ? If not, what's the meaning of JavaTV ?

Thanks a lot.
