Windows7 - Rendering problems in Java Swing.

Hi all.

Not sure if this be the appropriate forum to post an issue I am seeing in Windows7 which I am not seeing on WindowsXP. If not I apologize up front and if you can point out the appropriate one I do appreciate it. I am running the 1.6.x JRE. When disabling a menuitem on a menubar in XP the text on the disabled item is showing greyed out. Correct. But using the same code on a Windows7 platform the rendering of the color grey is taking no effect on the disabled menu item. I've attached two JPG' showing the two menus.

Has anyone seen this behavior? And if so is there a solution to the problem that you know of? Reference? Anything?
