Response to: No Java 6 on Leopard
Everybody is up in arms that Java 6 didn't ship on Leopard, and assuming this means it never will. Let's relax, and wait a little while. All that we can really say is that Java 6 wasn't as high of a priority as getting Leopard shipped in October, and the features they've been promoting. And really, you can't blame Apple; it makes perfect business sense to not delay Leopard a second time, and make Java 6 available for download. I wouldn't have any idea myself, but I wonder if somebody could come up with some interesting clues by registering for a free account at http://connect.apple.com, agreeing to the NDA, and reading the Leopard release notes.
