C# has now an immense amount of features. This will pose a problem in real projects. Given that Java works very fine in its current state, I think the best strategy for Java would be, to observe which of the many features of C# are actually used, what the side-effects are and if they prove to be really useful. Then, if seen as sensible, it could be integrated in Java some versions later and you would get only the good things. C# is currently looking like a excessively decorated christmas tree, something Java should avoid. |
