threadweaver, have you had a look at the latest EJB spec? The page count seems to have stabilized, they've chopped it into three, and they've added features to keep us from having to make so much boiler plate. I might wade back in if I get a project that can have the overhead of an application server.
You're in for a great journey trying to define what we do with that kind of rigor. You're more ambitious than Dijkstra. I'd love to look over your shoulder from time to time to see how it's going.
I'll a gree that every sentence spoken is an act of creation. The world would be a better place if every sentence were all an act of engineering.
