Silicon Valley Code Camp 4.0

Posted by van_riper on August 21, 2009 at 11:05 AM PDT

CodeCamp at FootHill College. Click Here for Details and RegistrationPlease join me at the 4th annual Silicon Valley Code Camp at Foothill College in Los Altos on October 3-4, 2009. It is shaping up to be even bigger and better than last year's event. Attendance is FREE, but space is limited. So, you do need to register in advance.

Sessions will range from informal “chalk talks” to presentations. There will be a mix of presenters, some experienced folks, for some it may be their first opportunity to speak in public. And we are expecting to see people from throughout the Northern California region and beyond.

Community Sponsors

The Silicon Valley Web JUG (Java User Group) and the Silicon Valley GTUG (Google Technology User Group) are proud to be community sponsors of this Code Camp. If you are interested in being a Community Sponsor, we ask for three things:

  • Do a mailing now to your members letting them know about Code Camp.
  • Display one of the Code Camp Banners on your web site.
  • Do a final mailing 1 to 2 weeks before the Code Camp event.

Financial Sponsors

Silicon Valley Code Camp is proud to offer financial sponsorships at three levels, Platinum, Gold and Silver. All levels will receive recognition and thanks from the community for their participation. Platinum and Gold Sponsors may be listed in our schedule along with the specific events their contributions help pay for. For Example, Along side Lunch on the schedule will be the name of the sponsor(s) who helped make that happen. Contact info@siliconvalley-codecamp.com if you are interested in being a sponsor or you would like to make a raffle prize donation.

Platinum sponsors will receive additional benefits which include being able to set up a table at our Registration area where these sponsors can give out material about their company as well as discuss employment opportunities with Code Camp attendees. In addition, during camp, at a central location, a special room will be available for Platinum sponsors to meet and talk with attendees.
