CableLabs is nearing completion of its beta development phase of the Tru2way Reference Implementation (RI) and will make it publicly available in mid-June.
At that time, Java developers will be able to download tools from the OpenCable Project located on Java.net, and, within a Windows PC environment, develop apps for the cable TV industry.
As an open source project, developers will also be able to view the source code as well as make contributions to the software.
We would like to show you a preview of the RI at JavaOne.
Please stop by the Java Utopia area where CableLabs staff will help you navigate through our OpenCable Project site, demonstrate some applications that were written using the Tru2way Workbench SDK and answer any questions. We are looking forward to meeting you!
